Introducing QCFlo with a Stronger Focus on Quality and Compliance

We are pleased to announce that BizPortals QMS has evolved into QCFlo.

The Reason:

Today, quality management teams are responsible for more than just maintaining procedures and documentation. As regulatory expectations continue to expand, organizations need a system that supports consistent quality practices while meeting industry-specific regulations.

The Response:

In response to this evolving landscape, QCFlo now reflects the close relationship between Quality and Compliance and how they work together across daily operations.

This is more than a name change. QCFlo builds on its established quality management foundation with new AI-enhanced capabilities and platform enhancements that strengthen how organizations manage quality and compliance.

Together, these advancements reinforce our long-term vision of building quality management platforms that help organizations standardize operations, improve visibility, and support consistent execution across teams, processes, and compliance activities.

The Idea Behind QCFlo

For organizations operating in regulated environments, operational success depends on two fundamental principles:

First, do the right thing. And second, prove that you are doing the right thing.

Every regulation, certification, internal policy, CAPA, and audit exists to support one or both of these principles.

In quality management, effective control depends on execution and accountability working together within a continuous system.

That thinking is reflected in the name QCFlo.

QC represents Quality and Compliance: the quality of your processes, products, and systems, together with the need to meet internal and industry-specific requirements.

Flow represents continuity: how Quality and Compliance work together across connected processes, without gaps or manual disconnects.

Together, QC + Flow represents an approach to quality management where organizations can build reliable products, meet applicable requirements, demonstrate compliance, and maintain control throughout their operations.

WHAT QCFlo CONTINUES TO OFFER

Industries QCFlo Supports

Quality and compliance requirements do not operate the same way in every industry. The processes, requirements, risks, and controls may differ, but the need to maintain consistency, accountability, and traceability remains.

That is why QCFlo is designed to adapt to different regulated and process-driven environments rather than being limited to a single industry or operating model.

QCFlo supports organizations across a broad range of industries, including automotive, chemicals, cosmetics, food and beverage, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

It can also be configured to support other manufacturing and regulated environments where structured quality and compliance processes are essential.

Across these environments, organizations can configure QCFlo to reflect their specific operations, requirements, and responsibilities. Quality processes such as CAPA, audits, document control, training, risk management, supplier quality, deviations, inspections, and other workflows can be structured within the platform according to how each organization operates.

Compliance Standards and Regulations QCFlo Supports

QCFlo supports quality and compliance operations across a range of compliance standards and regulations, including ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, SQF, GLP, HIPAA, and other applicable requirements.

Organizations can use QCFlo to structure and manage quality processes associated with these requirements, including document control, training, audits, CAPA, deviations, risk management, inspections, and corrective actions. This helps organizations maintain the records, approvals, and evidence needed to support consistent quality operations and compliance activities.

For organizations operating in GMP-regulated environments, QCFlo supports quality processes across controlled documentation and records, training and competency, deviations, CAPA, audits, inspections, and data integrity. These capabilities help organizations maintain traceability and inspection readiness while managing GMP-related quality activities within a centralized system.

QCFlo can also support organizations adapting to evolving regulatory requirements, including the FDA’s Quality Management System Regulation (QMSR), which became effective for medical devices in February 2026 and incorporates ISO 13485:2016 into the FDA’s medical device quality system requirements.

Business Systems QCFlo Integrates With

Quality teams often need information from systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to investigate issues, track production-related quality activities, manage suppliers, or follow up on customer concerns. QCFlo can connect these quality workflows with the systems your organization already uses, including Acumatica ERP, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and OptiPro ERP, through API-based integrations.

QCFlo can integrate with systems such as:

  • ERP: Connect quality processes with production, purchasing, inventory, and other operational data.
  • CRM: Connect customer-related information and feedback with relevant quality workflows.
  • MES and MRP: Connect manufacturing and production information with quality activities.
  • LIMS: Link laboratory and testing information with relevant quality processes.
  • Other enterprise applications: Extend quality workflows through APIs and third-party integrations based on organizational requirements.

Moving Forward

While the name has changed from BizPortals QMS to QCFlo, the platform continues to build on its established quality management foundation. Organizations can continue to rely on QCFlo to manage structured quality processes, maintain traceability and accountability, and support consistent execution across their operations.

QCFlo QMS software is designed for quality and compliance teams, manufacturers, and organizations operating in regulated or process-driven environments, including those managing quality across multiple teams or sites, moving from spreadsheets and manual processes, replacing a legacy QMS, or connecting quality management with their existing business systems.
